Q. How many years has Chaos Entertainment been in business?
A. Chaos Entertainment has been in business since 1992.
   
Q. Can we meet you before we decide to book with you?
A. Yes, we usually meet for appointments with our clients at Williams Coffee Pub in Cambridge on Hespeler Rd. This gives us a chance to discuss your plans over a cup of coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Please note, while phone and email consultations are always available, we limit our in person consolations to our initial meeting. This helps to keep our pricing lower for all our clients. If additional in person consultations are needed, there may be an additional charge to your booking package.
   
Q. How will you know what we want for our party?
A. We have many options for getting all the information we will need for your event. Our primary method is to setup  an online client account where you can fill in your planning forms for your function. These forms are available to you 24/7. We can also get information regarding your event by email or directly by phone.
   
Q. Do you have references I can call?
A. We do not give out our client information nor will we give out yours if you choose to book with us. We do however showcase DJ Awards and Client Testimonials which we do display on our website as a sign of our commitment to our customers as well as our commitment to the Disc Jockey industry.
 
 
   
Q. How do we contact you on the day of our event?
A.

On event days we forward all calls to our cell phones, call our regular number and you will reach us.

   
Q. Will you be the Disc Jockey at our event?
A. At Chaos Entertainment we have enough equipment and associates to do more then one event a night. I cannot guarantee which of our associates will be the DJ at your event but please be assured, all our DJ’s are well trained and will have experience for your type of function.
   
Q. I was at a function which your company was performing at and there were two DJ's?
A. Depending on the situation, we sometimes will commit two DJs to an event. Two DJ’s can more comfortably take music request, prepare announcements, load gear in and out of the hall much faster etc. Sending two DJ's also gives the DJ's more opportunities to learn from each other thus elevating the skill set of all our DJs much quicker then if they always worked alone.  When necessary, it also gives us a chance to raise the experience levels of the second DJ while they are under the constant supervision of the more experienced primary DJ.
   
Q How much experience do your DJs have?
A. Some of our DJ’s having as much as 12+ years experience, the DJ at your event will have a minimum of two years experience with your type of function.
   
Q. What kind of music do you play?
A. We play a wide variety of music. We take request during the evening and we provide our clients with an online account for themselves and their guest so they can make music request from home before the day of their event.
   
Q. Can I give you a list of songs and have you play them in order?
A. We limit our must play list to 10 must play songs (not including any special songs such as bride and groom dances etc.) The rest we will accept as "Play if Possible". We do this so we can accept request from your guest and keep the night flexible to suit the styles of music for you and your guest.
   
Q. What if I don't like a song or a type of music, will you still play those songs?
A. We will not play specific songs you tell us not to play nor will we play a style of music you ask us not to play. We will however recommend that you allow a few songs from those genres in the event someone who is helping to celebrating your party should want to hear something from that style. Keep in mind, your guest are there to celebrate your event with you and if you do allow us to play requests for them, it is our policy to limit the number of songs played from that style of music you asked us not to play. In the end, the final decision will be yours.
   
Q. Will you bring top of the line equipment and current music selections?
A. We use laptops and bring upwards of 20 thousand songs to each event. Our music is updated every two weeks. Our equipment is high grade and designed for continuous use, clarity and reliability. To see pictures of our gear, click here.
   
Q. Do you have back up equipment?
  Yes. We keep our equipment well maintained but we still have back up equipment on site. The chances of a problem occurring are very slim but in the event of an equipment failure, down time will be minimal.
   
Q. Will we be provided with a written contract securing the terms and conditions of our event?
A. Yes we require a contract to secure all bookings. The contract is for both of us. It will out line your package details, start and end time, event location etc.
   
Q. Will you play request?
A. Yes we will play request. We encourage request at the party and through our online interactive forms. When you book with us we give you access to our online music database and you can select as many songs as you like before your event even arrives. We also provide you with an online link so your guest can join in on the fun and make some of there own request for your event. If more then one person picks the same song we will see a total. So if a song gets 20 requests you can be sure we will play that song.
   
Q. Your pricing is similar to others in the market and we want to know why we should choose you?
A. What we include in our packages along with the basics is what makes us a very good choice. Along with the basics we also include backup equipment, we are insured, we have proper licensing for all our DJ software and music and have two Disc Jockeys present at each event. We include online wedding planners, time line planners, convenient online payment options, online music selections so you and your guest can make music request before your party even begins. During your reception we take request as well as encourage request so everyone feels included. In addition to our wedding packages we can offer ceremony music, P.A. systems, video projectors and screens, lighting effects, light stands and much more depending on your budget and requirements.

In the end it will be up to you to decide which company best fits your budget and offers the better value. My advice to you is, shop around and gather as much information as you can but remember to book early. Don't let your first choice, and all your research slip away because someone else booked your date first!
